In this battlefield of heartache, I'm trying to survive. I've sent you letter upon letter upon letter, but no response back. Your absence in my life shooting me in the heart and slowly killing me. Bullet after bullet and bomb after bomb, I still try to stay alive. Having very little hope now of surviving, I still keep your words in a heart shape locket. "Hey doc, I've been shot by unrequired love." I say as holding onto my heart. He told me there is no cure for the misery I'm in.
Before I die, I will look at your pages of writings. And from there I will still try to make sense of your words, for I do not understand at the sudden absence of your notes. I will bleed out on the battle field with you, being my last thought. Accepting that I'm not cut out for love.
In allegory, don't enter a war you know you will not survive.
